PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANTS

+ CHRIS DIGIOVANNI PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

"I decided to become a Physical Therapist Assistant after spending a little time in physical therapy myself. I had been a dancer and dance educator most of my life and was contemplating my next career move when I broke my ankle. As I watched the therapists work with all of the patients in the clinic where I was being treated, I realized this was something I was interested in doing! Becoming a PTA has allowed me to combine my knowledge of the body and movement from my dance career with my desire to help people. I love the diversity of the people we see in the outpatient setting. I really enjoy getting to know the people I work with and helping them on their journey to injury and pain free living. I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they turn a corner and start to feel better – knowing I had a hand in getting them to this place of happiness is very rewarding."

If you could trade places for a day with someone, who would it be and why?: Ellen DeGeneres, she seems like such an awesome person. She is constantly going out of her way to help anyone who seems to be struggling at the time, as well as spot lights people who are doing alot of good for society.
